MASAI MARA

GAME RESERVE

Sharing a common border with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, the Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains. Wildlife sighting include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Witness the great migration as a display of natural wonders with over two million wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelle and zebra traveling hundreds of miles to cross the Mara River into the Mara plains to ensure their survival which is actually not guaranteed with Africa’s top predators on the way.

The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people. Mara as frequently referred by many, is where Wildlife and Big 5 enthusiasts meet their dreams.

Getting there: Either road transfer or domestic flight.

What to do: Game drive, hot-air balloon safari, Masai Village visit, Nature walk, bush meal and sundowner.
